Virginia Lewis is one of the leading photographic artists in Southeastern Massachusetts and Cape Cod. Her work has graced the pages of many magazines including Cape Cod Bride, New England Bride, Cape Cod Life, and Cape Cod Navigator Magazines.
A professional photographer since 1977, Virginia Lewis works her talent on subjects that widely range from people and events to travel. Ginny was born in Massachusetts and time spent as a child often included snapping images of her family with her first camera, a Kodak Instamatic 110. By the time she entered high school, Ginny knew she wanted to be a professional photographer.
Ginny earned her Bachelor of Arts degree at Bridgewater State College, graduating with honors. She is past-president of the Wareham Business and Professional Women’s Club where she was recognized in 1988 as ‘Outstanding Member’ for service to her club and community. Ms. Lewis is a member of the Professional Photographers of Cape Cod, Professional Photographers of New England, Professional Photographers of America Inc., and most recently served as vice-president of the Business Network International: Wareham Chapter. She is an accomplished artist who also enjoys cooking, wine-making, painting, golf, and travel. She has recently begun a second career interest, real estate. Ginny is a State Certified Residential Real Estate Appraiser and is a licensed sales associate with DiVito Realty Inc.
Virginia’s unique style and passion for photographing ‘the moment’ has given her the opportunity to ‘shoot’ hundreds of events over her career. This combination of art, photography, and real estate has ultimately led her to become one of Cape Cod’s most sought-after professionals.
